The heat is on.

And I’m going to go for a walk anyway. The “feels like” is 84 and only going up. It is not a dry heat. It is a hot, 80% humidity heat.

That said, I don’t want to leave right now — this air conditioned room is quite comfortable and I’m enjoying my second cup of coffee.

Such a clear example of giving a gift to my future self vs staying put in the now. Cool now or less hot later.
Sometimes “being” vs. “doing” is the gift to oneself and I’m enjoying simply being.

Sigh. Off I go. Will post a photo of the hottest moments of my soon-to-be 5 mile walk, along with the “feels like” temp when I get back.

Did it. Most men were shirtless, Edley’s Bar-B-Que’s outdoor porch was empty, difference between sun and shade was easily 10+ degrees.
