Feed the birds…

These days, bird seed is more than tuppence a bag, though it’s a newfound pleasure to look out the kitchen window and see the three recently installed feeders serving seeds and suet to our friendly feathered neighbors.

Standing by the kitchen window watching the avian activity — a peaceful way to start the day.

We have seen male and female cardinals, red-bellied woodpeckers, California and house wrens, pine warblers, ruby-crowned kinglets, white-throated sparrows, tufted titmouses, white-breasted nuthatches, and more.
